When it comes to women’s reproductive health, my approach as DA will be clear: I will enforce the laws on the books without bias or political influence. In California, the law guarantees safe access to reproductive healthcare, and the right to an abortion is enshrined in our state constitution. It is my responsibility to protect these rights. I will safeguard women and healthcare workers involved in seeking and providing reproductive health services, ensuring their legal and constitutional protections are respected. The focus of my office will be to create a fair and just legal environment that upholds the rule of law, supports the well-being of our community, and respects the decisions made by Californians regarding their health and bodies.
